Musical Friends

We meet a lot of cool bands who tour through our neck of the woods. Here are a few of our favourites, in no particular order. We don't necessarily represent these artisits or anything but we may have worked with them or just like them. (click the names for their website):

The Ross Neilsen Band: Blues-rock from Fredericton, New Brunswick. Tour Canada twice a year or so and happen to be pretty awesome guy

Mojave: Acoustic duo in Victoria, former Tofino residents. Geoff produced and engineered their latest effort, Rainy Ghost

Kim Churchill: Australian talent that spends a lot of time in Canada. Hard to define, one of the more interesting, high energy solo acts you'll see anywhere

Wil: Displaced Albertan, now living on Vancouver Island Wil is an intense showman and talented songwriter

The Steadies: From Saskatoon, these Island Rockers are led by Wide Mouth Mason founder Earl Pereira

The Lance LaPointe Band: Just down the road Lance is making some great music in Port Alberni and playing it all around the island

Prester John's Gone: Tofino's own rootsy alt-country fun

The Poor Pistols for Hire: Also in Tofino, a bit of all-girl bluegrass fun

Mark Crissinger: A Vancouver Island based solo acoustic and covers act with a focus on blues and classic. Mark also plays with his full band The Blue Budzz. Mark is the first person to ever gain the status of "Musical Friend" and "Honorary Pig"

Terra Zetto: World-Jazz-Accordian Insanity courtesy of Ken and Len from Nanaimo
